Why these numbers
The game's own explanation, as a reader sees it in the backpack.
Two damaged leaves, holding scattered verses from two different letters. Partial survival, partial Stamina.
Ephesians 1 is the sealing of the Spirit and Christ seated above every name that is named. That is heavy material for a broken page.
The surviving text agrees with the rest of the tradition and raises no disputes.
A codex fragment from Narmuthis in the Faiyum, in a Cairo museum case. It is not famous and it does not speak quickly.
Cited for this book
About A.D. 300, found at Narmuthis in the Faiyum, now in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. The scribe was copying Ephesians and 2 Thessalonians onto the same leaves — so this broken page is physical evidence that Paul’s letters were already being handed on as a collection, bound together, by the year 300.
Moves learned
