Why these numbers

The game's own explanation, as a reader sees it in the backpack.

Stamina 54

A single leaf holding the end of one chapter and the start of the next — enough to argue with, and no more.

Contend 74

What survives is an early hymn the churches were already singing when Paul quoted it: God revealed in the flesh. A fragment holding a creed hits far above its size.

Defend 60

Cleanly published and uncontested. What is on the leaf is what is on the leaf.

Popularity 46

Published in 2016 alongside 𝔓132. Its importance is enormous and its fame is not.

Cited for this book

Mid-3rd century, found at Oxyrhynchus, now in the Sackler Library, Oxford (P. Oxy. 81 5259). Published in 2016, and as of that publication it is the oldest physical evidence for 1 Timothy that exists anywhere — no earlier copy of any part of the letter is known.

Moves learned

By levelling up. A book that develops keeps what it knew and learns the rest on its new schedule.
